Samuel French, Inc. is offering unique internships to qualified and eager individuals who are interested in dramatic literature and the publishing process. Duties will be split among two different departments in the company -- book production and editorial -- potentially offering a student a well-rounded experience of the professional play publishing business.
  • Production duties may include assisting the Production Manager in copyediting scripts and digitizing materials, as well as website and database maintenance.
  • Editorial duties will be comprised of reading and evaluating plays, archiving published plays, copyright research, and assisting the Managing Editor in the administration of the submission process.
  • Other duties and opportunities, as they arise may also be included.
As a theatrical publishing and licensing house with over five thousand active plays and musicals and 179 years of operation, the experience and exposture a student can receive while working at Samuel French is priceless in the professional arena.

REQUIREMENTS: Applicants shoudl currently be pursuing, or recently in receipt of, a college degree. Graduate students are also welcome to apply.
