WET, a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 company, is currently seeking individuals interested in a Grant Writing internship. We are looking for enthusiastic, powerful writers with previous grant writing experience. This position is part time and will require intern(s) to draft grants for WET's educational outreach program and for WET's theatrical work. Looking for: strong writer, thorough editing skills and someone who feels passionate about the mission of the company. This position will require ten to twenty hours of work a week, with hours possibly extending as needed to meet deadlines. This is an internship in a fast growing company, with the opportunity to grow into a development position with salary.

WET (Women's Expressive Theater, Inc.) is a New York City based 501(c) 3 non-profit production company that produces media which challenges female stereotypes and advocates for equality. WET adheres to its mission by developing and producing: world premiere theatrical productions written by female playwrights; events promoting notable female artists; and a citywide media literacy & leadership program for teenage girls, WET's Risk Takers Film Series.
