Professionally known as Murray the K, Murray Kaufman was an influential DJ whose peak popularity was during the 1960s with the radio station WINS-AM in New York City. An early champion of The Beatles, George Harrison named him "The Fifth Beatle". Born February 14, 1922, died February 21, 1982.
