Martha Donaldson
MARTHA DONALDSON is currently a stage manager on the Broadway musical Next to Normal at the Booth Theatre. On Broadway she has also stage managed [title of show] at the Lyceum Theatre, Top Girls at the Biltmore Theatre, and The Year of Magical Thinking also at the Booth. Martha has also done many shows Off-Broadway including this summer's The Bacchae for Shakespeare in the Park. Other shows at the Public Theatre/NYSF include: Satellites, Well, and Julius Caesar. Martha has done many plays at the New York Theatre Workshop. Plays for NYTW include the Five Lesbian Brothers' Oedipus at Palm Springs and many plays with the Flemish Director Ivo van Hove including Hedda Gabler, A Streetcar Named Desire, Alice in Bed (also toured Holland and Belgium), and More Stately Mansions (also at the Edinburgh International Festival). Other shows at NYTW include Caryl Churchill's A Number and Far Away, Tony Kushner's Homebody/Kabul and also the Musical Bright Lights Big City among others. Other Off Broadway credits include work with Mabou Mines Theatre Company, The Manhattan Theatre Club, Minetta Lane Theatre, Vineyard Theatre, St. Ann's Warehouse, CSC, En Garde Arts and Playwrights Horizons among others. Martha has also toured nationally with the show The Vagina Monologues. Before moving to NYC, Martha worked in regional theatre at Syracuse Stage in Syracuse, NY and also Geva Theatre in Rochester, NY among several others.
