Larry Fuller
LARRY FULLER won a Tony nomination and a New York Drama Critics Circle Award for choreographing the 1979 Broadway production of Evita. Originally from Missouri, he started dancing in high school. In 1964, when he was serving as assistant choreographer for the Broadway production of Funny Girl, the untimely death of choreographer Carol Haney quickly thrust Fuller into the top slot, which he held onto throughout the show's national tour and London production. His first directing effort was the initial summer tour of Funny Girl. He has also worked extensively in Europe, including directing and choreographing the London hits Marilyn: The Musical (about Marilyn Monroe) and Time (a sci-fi rock musical). Fuller and Hal Prince collaborated on many projects, including four Broadway musicals in addition to Evita: Cy Coleman's On the Twentieth Century (1978), Sondheim's Sweeney Todd (1979) and Merrily We Roll Along (1981), and Larry Grossman's A Doll's Life (1982). Fuller also choreographed Prince's 1977 film version of A Little Night Music starring Elizabeth Taylor.

Bio as of January, 1999.
