KARA MEDOFF BARNETT is the Director, Executive Strategy and Business at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the world's largest performing arts center. She manages a diverse portfolio of projects focused on creating new streams of earned income for the institution, building on the momentum of Lincoln Center's 50th Anniversary and its $1 billion redevelopment of its 16-acre campus. Kara is a founding producer, board member, and Treasurer of Ars Nova Theater, a hub for emerging talent in theater, music, and comedy. She also serves on the Campaign Cabinet for the Actors Fund of America. Kara's producing credits include: Long Day's Journey Into Night (2003 Tony Award, Best Revival of a Play) and Modern Orthodox (by Daniel Goldbarb, directed by James Lapine). Kara is a graduate of Duke University and Harvard Business School.
