Judith O. Rubin
JUDITH O. RUBIN is the Chairman of the Board of Playwrights Horizons. For 8 years she served on the National Council on the Arts of the NEA, for 6 years on the board of Theatre Communications Group, and is currently on TCG?s Executive Committee and chairman of its National Council for the American Theatre. She was a Tony Awards Nominator and is on the Tony Administration Committee and the Rules Committee. Since 1989, she has been on the New York State Council on the Arts. She serves on the Cultural Affairs Advisory Commission of New York City, Yale University Council Committee on Theater, and the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) Board of Overseers. Rubin was a member of the Board of Regents of New York State. She is a trustee of Mount Sinai Hospital and Medical School and a former trustee of Public Radio International and the Center for Arts and Culture. She was Commissioner for Protocol during the Dinkins Administration and is former president and chairman of the 92nd Street Y. She graduated from Wellesley College.
