Jeremy Desmon
JEREMY DESMON is a composer, lyricist and bookwriter who received the 2007 Kleban Award for excellence in Musical Theatre Bookwriting. He is also a recipient of the Dramatists Guild's Jonathan Larson Fellowship. Credits include The Girl in the Frame (Goodspeed Musicals, London, Boston, Milwaukee, Sacramento, etc.); I See London, I See France: The Underwear Musical (New York Music Theatre Festival and Montreal); If You Give A Mouse A Cookie..., (TheatreworksUSA), and Man of the People (Web Comedy Series, Head Writer/Executive Producer). In addition, Jeremy's words and lyrics have been spoken and "sung" by the high-pitched voices of Elmo, Curious George, Mickey Mouse and various other Disney characters, in a plethora of live stage shows for audiences around the world. (None, so far, have been on ice.) Next up: Book/lyrics for the 141st Ringling Bros.and Barnum & Bailey Circus (directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge). Jeremy is an alumnus of Stanford University and NYU's Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program.
