David R. Richards
DAVID R. RICHARDS Richards/Climan, Inc. (RCI) was founded in 1997 by David R. Richards and Tamar Haimes (formerly Tamar Climan). Current credits include: The Pee-Wee Herman Show, A Life in the Theatre, La Bete, The Scottsboro Boys, Race and Harry Connick, Jr. In Concert On Broadway. Past credits include: Enron, The Pee-wee Herman Show (Los Angeles), August: Osage County Tour, Superior Donuts, Blithe Spirit, Desire Under The Elms, All My Sons, Speed-The-Plow, August: Osage County, November, Twelve Angry Men, Little Women, The Look of Love, Jane Eyre the Musical, Annie, Bridge &> Tunnel, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Say Goodnight Gracie, Primo, The Glass Menagerie, "Master Harold"...and the boys, Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks, and More to Love. Off Broadway: Sleepwalk With Me, Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living In Paris, Dinner with Friends, The Exonerated, The Thing About Men, Jewtopia, My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish and I'm in Therapy!, The Ark, and 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother. They also have managed Broadway on Broadway (Times Square), Broadway Under the Stars (Central Park) and Broadway Meets Country (New York/Nashville). Prior to forming RCI, David worked for Niko Associates and Marvin A. Krauss Associates as an Associate General Manager and Company Manager. He has managed such Broadway shows as The Life, Victor/Victoria starring Julie Andrews, Hello Dolly! starring Carol Channing and The National Actors Theater productions of The School for Scandal starring Simon Jones and Tony Randall and Inherit the Wind starring George C. Scott and Charles Durning. In addition, David has managed the national tours of Jelly’s Last Jam starring Maurice Hines and Savion Glover, Deathtrap starring Elliot Gould and Mariette Hartley, Ain't Misbehavin' starring The Pointer Sisters, as well as many Equity Workshops and Equity Staged Readings. David has his undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Economics and Music from Duke University and an MBA from The Wharton School of Business.
