CATHY BENCIVENGA is the General Manager for TACT/The Actors Company Theatre, a not-for-profit company dedicated to producing rarely seen or neglected plays of literary merit. Her Off Broadway credits with TACT include: The Cocktail Party by T.S. Eliot (upcoming), The Late Christopher Bean by Sidney Howard, Incident at Vichy by Arthur Miller, Bedroom Farce by Alan Ayckbourn, The Eccentricities of a Nightingale by Tennessee Williams (NY Times Top 10 for 2008), The Runner Stumbles by Milan Stitt, The Sea by Edward Bond, and Home by David Storey (all at Theatre Row). In addition to her work with TACT, Cathy is the Managing Director of The Internationalists, a collective of directors from around the world with the mission to create a more interactive global theatrical community. Other GM/producing credits include: Seeing Stars (NYMF); Around the World in 24 Hours 2008 & 2009, Decomposition (The Internationalists), Tejas Verdes (THALATTA!); Six Degrees of Separation, Bury Him, The 10th Annual Black Box New Play Festival, The Actor's Nightmare & Sister Mary Ignatius... (The Gallery Players), and as associate producer on Take Me Out (TGP), and Word and Thought (Austin, TX). Previously, Cathy has served as the Producing Director of THALATTA! Theatre International and on the Board of Directors of The Gallery Players. Cathy holds a Bachelors Degree in Theatre Management from Southwestern University.
